Dreadful Wind and Rain
Everything Ever, Everything After opens with a girl caught behind a window, trapped between her family's struggles and a world beyond the glass that she longs to be a part of. In search of anyone to break her free from her dysfunctional home, she enters a marriage story, constructed from Old Testament and fairy tale traditions. But when loving just anyone doesn't lead to happily ever after, the girl must break from her marriage and the precarious family betrayals that contributed to its failure. Floating through the fairytale now encompassing her divorced reality, she fights her sister's attempts to draw her back into old stories and old dynamics. But does the story she left her world for hold too strong a grip? Can she make safe passage into a new state, dark and unknown but beyond the reach of the stories made by others?
